4. Water flow indicator
Displays the rate of water flow between the chiller and the Supertub. If the water flow rate falls below 13 litres per minute, you may need to clean the water strainer and change the water filter, when it falls below 8 litres per minute. Refer to “Caring for your Supertub” below for instructions on how to do this.

5. Cooling and heating icons
Display the mode the chiller is currently operating in.

Cooling mode: When the set temperature is lower than the current water temperature. Your Permafrost™ chiller V1.1 will usually be operating in this mode.

6. Ozone icon
Flashes when the ozone generator is in operation, and stays constant when the ozone generator is not in operation.

The ozone generator produces ozone in the water to break down pollutants, microbes, and mold.

It generates ozone in cycles of your desired duration (we recommend around 3 minutes), followed by 30 minutes of rest.

ⓘ Connect to the Tuya Smart app to set your desired ozone cycle duration. Then drag the "Ozone time" slider to your desired duration, from 0 to 3 minutes.

Ozone Slider and Deviation Top Icons

11. Ozone slider
The ozone generator produces ozone in the water to break down pollutants, microbes, and mold. It generates ozone in cycles of your desired duration, followed by 30 minutes of rest. (We recommend cycles of 3 minutes, which is the default setting.)

To set your desired ozone cycle duration, drag the "Ozone time" slider to your desired duration, from 0 to 3 minutes.

12. Deviation top
When the chiller reaches the desired water temperature, the compressor will turn off automatically. Adjusting the deviation top will modify the temperature range at which the compressor will automatically restart.

ⓘ Setting a higher deviation is an energy-saving option, as it reduces the frequency at which the compressor needs to turn on.
